Emergency First Aid Re-Certification

Some of our training partners offer St Mark James emergency first aid and CPR re-certification’s. This is for candidates looking to re-certify a previously awarded and current emergency first aid certificate. This is not one of the most popular first aid re-certification courses available because many provincial regulations require participants to retake the full emergency first aid course.  This course takes approximately 6 (if available at depending on provincial regulation) hours to complete and costs considerably less. Course length can be longer than the minimum requirement depending on candidate skills and knowledge level. This course also includes CPR and AED re-certification. All of the same materials are covered from the full emergency first aid course. Course focus will be on material that candidates need strengthening and on new standards and implementations into the first aid and CPR program. Once candidates complete the course they will receive a St Mark James emergency first aid, CPR and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. Prior to registering for a emergency first aid or re-certification course ensure that this is the course that meets your workplace requirements by asking your employer or the local provider in your region (select your location from the main menu to find a provider in your region).

To qualify for this renewal course candidates are required to have a current  emergency first aid certificate from a recognized provider (participants in Ontario must have current certificate only from a St Mark James provider to be eligible for any re-certification course). Candidates who have previously certified with one of the following providers may be eligible for a emergency first aid recertification course.

  • St Mark James
