First Aid Courses Ltd.  is thrilled to introduce 8 other first aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) websites to our network of sites. These sites are designed to attract a larger audience and cater to customers searching for a variety of different first aid and CPR training. Each site will focus on a different first aid and CPR topic and will guide customers a first aid training centre near them. This project is a Canadian wide project that will bring customers to first aid and CPR training locations throughout Canada including Vancouver, Surrey, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg.

Register for St Mark James Health Care Provider CPR (HCP)

Health care provider CPR (CPR HCP) is the highest level of CPR offered through the St Mark James, Lifesaving Society and Heart and Stroke Foundation. It incorporates all the content from the lower level’s of CPR including CPR level “A”, “B” and “C”. Candidates that require this course typically work in the health care environment where they have trained backup and equipment to follow procedures for higher level CPR. This is a 8 hour course that is normally completed within one day. Upon completion of the course candidates will receive a 3 year St Mark James CPR HCP certificate.  Re-certifications are available for CPR “HCP” courses.

Register for  Childcare First Aid and CPR

Childcare first aid courses are provided exclusively by the St Mark James. These courses are designed for childcare and daycare workers and new parents. St Mark James offers two levels of childcare courses. Emergency childcare first aid is a 8 hour course that includes CPR level “B” and AED training. Standard childcare first aid is a 16 hour course that includes CPR level “B” and AED training. Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a St Mark James childcare first aid and CPR level “B” certificate that is valid for 3 years. Re-certifications are not available for either childcare first aid course.

Register for St Mark James Emergency First Aid and CPR

Emergency first aid and CPR is one of the most popular courses provided by the main providers of first aid and CPR. Emergency first aid comes standard with CPR level “A”, however, candidates at most locations can opt for a higher level CPR such as CPR level “B” or CPR level “C”. Emergency first aid is a 8 hour course that is typically completed within one day. Upon successful completion of this course candidates will receive a St Mark James emergency first aid and CPR level “A” (or higher) certificate that is valid for up to 3 years. Re-certifications, which cost significantly less and are significantly shorter, are available for this course.

Register for Standard First Aid and CPR Training

Standard first aid and CPR training is one of the most comprehensive and popular first aid and CPR courses offered through the St Mark James, Lifesaving Society, Heart and Stroke foundation and St. Johns Ambulance. This first aid, CPR and AED training takes approximately 16 hours to complete and comes standard with CPR level “C”. At some locations candidates have the option of taking the first aid course with a more advanced health care provider CPR  (HCP) and AED. Shorter and cheaper renewal courses are also available for this course which take approximately 6 to 8 hours depending on skill and knowledge level.

Register for St Mark James CPR Training

CPR  level “C” is one of the most popular stand-alone CPR and AED classes offered through the St Mark James, Heart and Stroke Foundation and Lifesaving Society. This 6 to 8 hour course includes CPR “A” and “B” and adds additional infant CPR to make it the highest level of CPR for “lay” persons. Re-certification courses can be offered for this CPR course. The re-cert courses are significantly cheaper and shorter than any of the full courses. Re-certification courses take approximately 3 to 4 hours and cost 30.00 dollars.
